Annuity Coverage Increased |

Effective July 1, 2009, amendments to the Idaho Life and Health Insurance Guaranty Association law will increase coverage for annuity contracts to $250,000 and will provide for coverage to more types of annuity contracts, such as structured settlement annuities.
For insurance companies operating in this state that issue a notice of guaranty association coverage when a policy is issued in this state, the revised summary of coverage document is now available on the Association’s Web site on the Additional Information page.
